About the role
Piano performance studies instructor responsible for one-on-one lessons for piano majors.
Responsibilities
- Arrange one on one meetings with students to practice and refine skills.
- Help students work on areas that need improvement.
- Encourage students to challenge themselves.
- Foster a healthy and supportive learning environment.
- Identify when students need additional support.
Requirements
- Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience: Master's Degree
- Proficiency in instrument of specialty.
- Ability to work well with students.
- Ability to work with multiple schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years prior teaching experience at the University level or in a private studio.
- Master's degree (minimum) in instrument of specialty, in pedagogy, performance or Music Ed.
- Some professional performance experience.
Pay
$50 per hour
