Adjunct Faculty - Optional Education Instructor (High School Completion)

Description Of Duties

• Work with Optional Ed Coordinator to develop individualized educational plans for each student based on current transcripts.
• Deliver needed instruction in required high school credit courses.
• Prepare and deliver instruction based on textbooks and supporting materials.
• Administer standardized tests to measure student progress.
• Teach using a provided curriculum, encouraging learning through preparation of appropriate lessons and activities.
• Evaluate students’ performance and maintain classroom records, equipment, and instructional materials.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Previous teaching experience or experience with high school learners preferred.

Pay

Pay is commensurate with education and experience.

• Bachelor's Degree = $25.97 per contact hour
• Bachelor's +15 Degree = $28.14 per contact hour
• Masters = $30.30 per contact hour
