Adjunct Faculty of Bassoon

Duties and Responsibilities

• Attend and lead all required class sessions
• Promptly assess student coursework and submit via Brightspace (the university’s learning management system)
• Cook with Division Chair and/or Academic Dean regarding classroom or student issues in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in music preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Demonstrated talent and accomplishment in relevant playing and/or teaching
• Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred

Required Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Organization skills to facilitate management of student work
• Ability to communicate with and teach students at all levels of musicianship
