Adjunct Faculty - Medical/Surgical Clinical Nurse

About the role

Washington Adventist University is seeking candidates for medical-surgical clinical nursing adjunct faculty in the Department of Nursing for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical-surgical nursing on Thursdays, day shift.
• Teach a day-shift nursing home clinical on Tuesdays for the second half of each semester.
• Evaluate students based on their clinical performance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• 2 years of clinical experience
• Current RN license in Maryland or Multi-State Privilege License
• Current CPR Certification

Qualifications

Applications will be reviewed periodically based on student enrollment needs. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications are not automatically accepted to teach at Washington Adventist University. Decisions to hire applicants are made at the discretion of the department.
