Adjunct Faculty - MBA Program

About the role

The purpose of an Adjunct MBA Faculty Member is to fulfill the educational mission of the department, the college, and Life University by providing high-quality instruction in graduate business courses.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Life University’s Honor Code and Faculty Handbook policies.
• Deliver engaging, academically rigorous content in assigned MBA courses.
• Maintain classroom professionalism and foster a supportive learning environment.
• Prepare and publish a course syllabus via Blackboard each quarter.
• Maintain appropriate office hours and availability for student interaction.
• Complete necessary documentation and grading promptly and accurately.
• Participate in curriculum and assessment activities as needed.
• Attend department meetings and contribute to university initiatives.
• Stay current in field through ongoing professional development.
• Complete service hours and committee participation as outlined in the Faculty Handbook.

Requirements

Currently accepting applications from qualified instructors to join our dynamic MBA program, particularly in the following areas: Accounting for Managers (Financial & Managerial Accounting), Corporate Finance / Financial Management, Marketing Management, Operations Management, Strategic Management / Business Strategy, Managerial Economics / Microeconomics, Business Statistics / Quantitative Methods, Business Law and Corporate Governance, Organizational Behavior, Leadership and Ethics.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the field.
• Proven teaching experience at the graduate level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Experience with online learning platforms such as Blackboard.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
