Adjunct Faculty Liberal Arts - Understanding AI
About the role
The College for Creative Studies (CCS) invites applications for adjunct faculty members to teach Understanding AI on Mondays from 12.45-3.30 in the Winter of 2027.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person instruction for assigned course sections.
- Maintain scheduled office hours (minimum one hour per week per course).
- Evaluate and grade student work promptly and in accord with institutional timelines.
- Respond to student inquiries promptly.
- Develop and submit course syllabus for departmental approval to deadlines.
- Use Canvas for course delivery and communication as required by the department and college.
- Deal promptly with all administrative responsibilities attached to this work.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours is normally required.
- Experience teaching these or nearby topics at the college or university level is absolutely essential.
- Experience with Canvas or other LMS is also essential.
- The post requires teaching on campus in person, and there is no possibility of remote work.

- Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours is normally required.

- Experience teaching diverse student populations.
