Adjunct Faculty- KINESIOLOGY

Temporary adjunct faculty position at Bluegrass Community & Technical College, Newtown Pike Campus.

About the role

Provide online, classroom, and lab instruction in competencies for Kinesiology students in alignment with course objectives promoting early childhood development in teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide KHP instruction online, in the classroom, and in laboratory settings.
• Ensure KHP course objectives are met and documented, including observation hours.
• Demonstrate current knowledge required by the curriculum for KHP based on Associate-level students through in-person or virtual lectures every week.
• Provide hands-on instruction and demonstration to KHP students in a group setting, both in person and online.
• Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to provide education, evaluation, and supervision to students.
• Complete required professional development training for adjunct faculty.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Health Services, Exercise Science, or a course-related field.
• OR a Master’s degree in any field with 18 graduate hours of courses in Health Services, Exercise Science, or a related field.
• Unofficial transcript must be uploaded with the application to be considered for the position.

Pay

$825 per credit hour.
