Duties & Responsibilities
- Instructing undergraduate and/or graduate courses within the VCU da Vinci Center’s Undergraduate Certificates, Master’s in Product Innovation, and Human-Centered Design courses.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with 5+ years relevant work experience.
- Experience and knowledge of design thinking principles.
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
- Prior teaching experience.
- A master's or Ph.D. degree.
- Experience with design thinking principles and training programs, innovation and entrepreneurship-based curriculum development, and mentoring and coaching students.
Schedule
Hours per Week: 28
Pay
Salary Range: A minimum of $1,437 per credit hour
