Description
The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Houston invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Faculty position to teach courses at the Sugar Land campus with a focus on Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, and Geographic Information Systems. Adjunct Faculty are expected to be on campus multiple times a week to teach classes and perform other additional duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Earned an advanced graduate degree in Supply Chain and Logistics, Data Analytics, and geographic information system (GIS)
- Demonstrated expertise or professional experience in Systems Engineering, Supply Chain and Logistics, Data Analytics, and geographic information systems (GIS)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A commitment to student success and inclusive teaching
- Familiarity with Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, and specifically geographic information systems
- College-level teaching experience and industry experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, and Technology are highly desirable
