Teaching

Tuesday and Thursday, 9:40-11:00 AM.

Office Hours

One to two hours per week.

Misc Administrative Duties

• Syllabus preparation
• Cataloging books and reading materials with the bookstore
• Maintaining Canvas
• Grading
• Responding to email inquiries from students, faculty, and staff

Requirements

• Master’s degree and 2 years of professional experience.
• ABD or PhD in Political Science or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of U.S. Foreign Policy from WWII to the present.
• Broad understanding of global politics from within that time frame.
• Ability to interact with students of varying backgrounds and abilities.
• Experience teaching U.S. Foreign Policy from WWII to the present.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• ABD or PhD in Political Science or a related discipline.
• Teaching certification and/or experience, particularly advanced high school or college students.
