Adjunct Faculty (In-Person) - Department of Psychology

About the role

Rowan University invites applications for adjunct teaching positions in Psychology for undergraduate and graduate courses. We have a strong preference and need for faculty who can teach classes in person, although applicants may be invited to teach either in person or online as needs arise. Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses on Rowan University’s main campus in Glassboro, as well as on campuses in Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester Counties.
• Teach classes Monday through Friday throughout the day into the evening, depending on the program.
• Indicate preferred campus(es) and general availability for in-person teaching in your cover letter.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching psychology.

Requirements

• At least a master’s degree.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Qualified to teach a range of courses offered by the Psychology Department, including BA in Psychology, BS in Psychological Science, minor in Psychology, MA degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Psychology, and Applied Behavior Analysis, Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and a new graduate program in Human Factors.
• Previous teaching experience and qualifications in teaching college courses.

Skills

• Ability to teach both in person and online as needed.

Benefits

• Minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught.
• Maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year.
• Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
