About the role

The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (EAS) at the University of Houston (UH) seeks an Adjunct Faculty (non-tenure-track) position in Geosciences.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the success of EAS degree programs by teaching introductory courses and overseeing laboratory sections for courses assigned.
  • Develop experiential opportunities for students such as field trips.
  • Develop course materials that encourage critical reasoning and problem solving.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. in geology or a closely related discipline at the time of the appointment.
