Adjunct Faculty - General
About the role
Cornestone University is seeking adjunct instructors to facilitate classes in one or more of their schools: School of Media, Ministry, and the Arts.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in relevant disciplines
- Several years of professional work in your field
- A terminal degree is a plus
- Most needs are on campus in Grand Rapids, but some opportunities for online teaching may exist
- The university is located in Grand Rapids, MI and is a theologically conservative Christian institution
- Candidates must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, be active in a local church, and fully affirm the university’s doctrinal statement, “The Cornerstone Confession”
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the faculty are teaching, spiritual modeling, and mentoring. The Cornerstone social work program provides a Christ-focused education with smaller class sizes and focuses on training students with a Christian worldview.
