About the role
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide campus is hiring adjunct faculty to teach PHYS 102 – Exploration in Physics at their Fort Lauderdale, FL Campus.
Responsibilities
- Teach survey course in elementary physics focusing on basic concepts, principles, and the history of physics.
- Present selected topics in mechanics, heat, light, sound, electricity, magnetism, and modern physics.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline is required.
- Applicant must meet ERAU’s policy requiring physical location within the United States while working for the University.
- Currently, ERAU supports work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California.
- The university does not support work from international locations, but there are limited exceptions for individuals residing and working from U.S. military bases.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to travel to the Fort Lauderdale, FL Campus as needed.
