Adjunct Faculty - ESL Instructor - CEC (Adult Ed Program)

General Information & Responsibilities

Black Hawk College seeks an ESL Instructor for our Adult Education Program. Provide English as a Second Language instruction to improve students' English language skills and prepare them for cultural integration in the workforce and community.

Description of Duties

• Prepare and deliver instruction based on textbooks and supporting materials.
• Administer standardized tests to measure progress.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Previous teaching experience or experience with ESL adult learners preferred.

Supplemental Information

• Work hours are: Monday-Thursday 5:00-7:30 pm
• Bachelor's candidates start at $26.88/hour. Master's candidates at $31.36/hour.
• Black Hawk College does not sponsor employment visas.
• Candidates hired to teach at Black Hawk College are required to submit official transcripts within three weeks of hire date.
