Adjunct Faculty - English (In Person teaching opportunity Elyria OH)
Lorain County Community College seeks an Adjunct Instructor to teach College Composition and co-requisite courses. Offerings may include days, evenings, and/or online sections. Location may vary from the main campus, College Credit Plus (CCP) in local high schools, Outreach Learning Centers in Wellington, Lorain, and North Ridgeville, and/or delivered remotely.
Responsibilities
- Teach College Composition and co-requisite courses in various formats (in-person, online, or hybrid).
- Deliver instruction at multiple locations, including the main campus, high schools, outreach centers, or remotely.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in English (required).
- Previous teaching experience (required).
- Background in Rhetoric/Composition (preferred).
- Familiarity with the mission of the community college (preferred).
- Completion of a background check prior to hiring.
