Adjunct Faculty - English

Job Description

Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty day time positions for an English adjunct. Adjunct Faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed. Responsibilities include teaching college level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends. This position will be located on the Middletown Campus. The position is for daytime teaching, in-person, at our Middletown campus.

KSA's/Required Qualifications

• Masters in English, Journalism, or Literature or Masters with 18 credits of English.
• The ability to use instructional technology is required.

Additional Considerations

• Occupational experience in the field.
• Experience with Canvas or other online course management tools.
• College level teaching experience, online experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
• The ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.
