Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. About the role
Westchester Community College seeks Adjunct Faculty members in the Engineering Department to teach classes in Civil, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Technology.
- Civil Technology courses: Construction Management, Construction Estimating, Architectural Drawing, and Designs.
- Electrical Technology courses: Electrical Circuits, Digital Logic, Electronic Communication.
- Mechanical Technology courses: Mechanisms, Fluids, Auto CAD.
Requirements
- Required Qualifications: An undergraduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical), a Master's degree, and one year of practical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching experience is a plus.
Pay
$93.84 per hour.
