Adjunct Faculty – Emergency Medical Services (Paramedics and EMTs)

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare and deliver instruction in assigned modalities (classroom, hybrid, or online).
• Develop instructional materials and evaluate student mastery of learning outcomes.
• Provide timely feedback on student progress and academic performance.
• Submit required documentation including syllabi, attendance, and final grades.
• Maintain current knowledge of student services and support resources.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education and credentials as outlined in Valencia College’s Credentials Manual.
• Teaching experience at a community college level preferred.
• Education related field experience, licensure, certifications, honors, or achievements may substitute for formal teaching experience.

Work Environment & Conditions

• This position operates in both classroom and office environments.
• Regular use of standard office and classroom equipment (computers, projectors, microphones, etc.).
