Primary Duties Classes leading to baccalaureate degrees in Liberal Studies: Early Childhood Education/Special Education and Elementary Education/Special Education are often taught by adjuncts currently enrolled in the field.Classes in reading, both elementary methods and secondary, are in need of a reading specialist. Qualifications Master’s degree.Experience in the area for which they are applying.State Certification preferred.Ability to communicate and work with a diverse population of students both in and outside the classroom.Prior college or university teaching experience preferred.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Knowledge of, and commitment to, the university’s philosophy and mission.
