Purpose

The University of Scranton's Department of Education has an ongoing need for highly qualified part-time faculty to staff courses in primary, middle, secondary, and special education. Part-time faculty may instruct one or more courses or labs each semester on an “as needed” basis.

Responsibilities

• Teach a specified course(s)
• Prepare course materials
• Provide support and guidance to students
• Report grades

Requirements

• Master's degree in Education or related majors is required
• Previous teaching experience is preferred
• Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling is preferred

Qualifications

• ABD or PhD in Education or related majors is preferred
