Job Summary

The Economics Instructor is responsible for teaching economics courses in both face-to-face and online formats using the D2L Brightspace learning management system. This position requires effective course delivery, student engagement, and the use of best practices in online instruction, including audio and video learning tools within the LMS.

Job Duties

• Teach economic courses in in-person and online format using the Learning Management System (LMS) D2L Brightspace.
• Instruction and Student Engagement.
• Assessment and Grading.
• Student Support and Communication.
• Technology and Platform Management.
• Adhere to Institutional policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics or master's degree with 18 graduate hours in economics.
• State of TN resident.

Preferred Qualifications

• To teach online, must have experience using D2L.
