Adjunct Faculty - Department of Communication Studies

Rowan University’s Communication Studies Department is hiring adjunct instructors for Public Speaking and Digital Presentations. Candidates who can also teach Interpersonal Communication, Business & Professional Communication, or Technical Speaking for Engineers are especially encouraged to apply.

About the role

• Teach undergraduate courses in person and/or online
• Work with Neurodivergent and Honors students
• Flexible scheduling, including early-morning sections (8 AM preferred)

Requirements

• MA or MS in Communication Studies or a closely related field
• Prior college-level teaching experience
• Eligibility to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available)

Pay

Adjuncts receive a minimum of $2,225 per credit, with a maximum load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits per academic year.
