Adjunct Faculty - Computer Maintenance & Networking

About the role

Lorain County Community College (LCCC) is seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and innovative applicants for an adjunct faculty position in the Electronic Engineering Technology – Computer Maintenance & Networking program, within the Division of Engineering, Business, and Information Technologies (EBIT).

Responsibilities

• Teach various computer engineering technology courses offered within the Computer Maintenance & Networking Program.
• Teach courses including Microsoft OSes, Virtualization, Cloud Technology, Networking, and Computer Maintenance.
• Teach CompTIA A+ Certification and CompTIA Network+ and other pertinent industry-standard certifications courses.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer technology or computer engineering technology.
• Three to four years’ relevant experience in the computer technology field is required.
• Prior teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people are essential.

• Unofficial college transcripts (undergraduate and graduate) are required.

Skills

• Ability to teach a variety of courses in computer maintenance and networking.
• Knowledge of CompTIA A+ Certification and CompTIA Network+ and other pertinent industry-standard certifications.
