About the Role

For Fall 2026, we are seeking instructors for our pool of Adjunct Faculty to teach various Computer and Information Sciences Courses and Computer Networking Certificate courses on an as needed basis. Successful applicants would teach courses in Computer Applications and/or Introduction to Information Technology. Classes are held on NECC's Haverhill campus. Seeking instructors for primarily day classes.

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned courses according to Academic Catalog description and established departmental student learning outcomes
  • Adhere to all NECC policies and MCCC contract requirements, including policies regarding grading, deadlines, evaluation process, and syllabus requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree in related field
  • Experience teaching in a related discipline at the college level
  • Experience using technology in instruction and assessment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Community College teaching experience
  • Experience with online and hybrid teaching and experiential learning
  • Experience with Brightspace Learning Management System
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population

Additional Information

Salary: $1,512.00/credit – $1,826.00/credit, per credit based on DCE step, per the DCE Contract, non-benefited.

Anticipated Start Date: As needed, based on departmental requirements and candidate availability.
