Adjunct Faculty (Clinical), Nursing

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience is required
• Prior teaching experience is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to provide effective clinical instruction and mentorship
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) recommended; national certification in a clinical specialty area preferred
• Current, unencumbered New York State RN license required

Skills & Experience

• Ability to teach clinical instruction in the generic nursing program in the following clinical areas: Fundamentals, Pediatric, Parent Child, Medical Surgical, Psychiatric, and Community Health clinical experiences
• Teaching up to two clinical courses per semester in a culturally diverse setting
• Courses are dependent upon the needs of the College each semester
• Not eligible for relocation assistance

Compensation

Compensation is based on a semester and calculated on a semi-monthly pay cycle.

Location
