Position Qualifications

  • Possess an earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision or a closely related field, preferably from a CACREP-accredited doctoral program.
  • ABD may be considered, for a strong candidate.
  • Be licensed or license eligible as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Texas.
  • Familiarity with CACREP standards.
  • Credentials demonstrating a professional identity, as evidenced by association memberships, educational background, work history, etc.
  • Experience as a clinical mental health counselor.
  • Experience as a clinical supervisor.
  • Experience teaching master’s level counseling students.
  • Demonstrate support for a diverse array of worldviews and faith traditions.
  • Demonstrate commitment to The Chicago School’s vision, mission, values, and philosophy of education.

Pay

This opportunity is budgeted at $1,124-1,540 per credit and may vary per course with student enrollment. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
