Adjunct Faculty, Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - FA26

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
• Instruction in various delivery modes, including face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats.
• Student evaluation and timely submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing with BNA Instructor Train the Trainer Course Certification or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with 4 CEU's of approved Alzheimer's Training or MSN with 4 CEU's of approved Alzheimer's Training or BNA Instructor Train the Trainer Course Certification.
• Experience: Two years of experience as a registered nurse (RN), with experience in at least one of the following areas: teaching theory in an accredited nurse training program or providing nursing care, including personal care and activities of daily living, to older adults or chronically ill adults.
• Licenses and Certifications: Active Illinois Registered Nurse License and current AHA BLS healthcare provider certification.
• Ability: Teaching remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
