Adjunct Faculty Arts and Sciences

Position Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in face-to-face and online course formats.
• Employ effective instructional strategies and techniques tailored to undergraduate or graduate teaching.
• Engage students in research or professional experiences, as appropriate.

• Demonstrate a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive academic environment.

Qualifications

• Educational Requirements: Master’s degree in the discipline (or 18 graduate credit hours in the field) from an accredited institution. A Ph.D. is required for teaching at the graduate level.
• Experience: A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required. At least one year of teaching experience in higher education is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

• Demonstrated proficiency in instructional methods and the ability to motivate and evaluate students effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
