About the Role

The position is available in the Health Science department, focusing on Midwest Culinary Institute. The role involves teaching culinary arts courses and managing the institute's operations.

Responsibilities

• Teach culinary arts courses to students enrolled in the Midwest Culinary Institute.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Midwest Culinary Institute, including scheduling classes, maintaining facilities, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement new curriculum and training programs.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback through regular evaluations and performance reviews.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with industry partners and potential employers.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in culinary education or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage a team and lead educational initiatives.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting are essential. Proficiency in culinary techniques and a passion for teaching are also required.
