Adjunct - DBA Program

Newman University, a mission-driven, Catholic, liberal arts university, is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach course(s) for our Doctor of Business Administration Program. Responsibilities

• Teach courses appropriate to academic qualifications in both online and face-to-face learning environments.
• Inform students of their progress by promptly returning graded assignments, quizzes, and examinations with appropriate feedback.
• Submit mid-term and final grades on Jet Stream by designated deadlines.
• Utilize the Learning Management System (e.g., Canvas) and other technology as appropriate.
• Report performance assessment data as required or requested.
• Consult with the Dean or Assistant Dean of the School of Business regarding concerns.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• An earned Doctoral degree in Business Administration (or equivalent) or Marketing.
• Specific graduate-level hours/knowledge relevant to the subject area.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
• Ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with university faculty, staff, students, and the general public.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and coworkers.
