Description
Florence Darlington Technical College is accepting applications to build an active pool of qualified candidates for Adjunct Faculty (temporary, part-time) positions. Adjunct instructors may teach In Person Classes or Online. Opportunities may include daytime or evening classes, online instruction, and dual credit courses offered at local high schools. Applications will be reviewed on an as-needed basis as teaching opportunities become available.
General Responsibilities
- Teach a diverse student body in accordance with established syllabi at various locations
- Utilize instructional technology
- Apply a variety of effective teaching methods
- Plan, manage, and deliver course instruction
- Follow all EPA and OSHA regulations that pertain to the program
- Participate in college functions as needed
- Apply teaching practices that support the continuous improvement of both the program and the college

Typical Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Criminal Justice or a Master Degree with 18 hours in Criminal Justice is required.
- The minimum requirements as listed plus practical experience in the Criminal Justice field are preferred.
