Job Duties
- Teach courses via on-ground at the campus or at a clinical site as assigned.
- May teach clinical day, evening, or weekend courses as required.
- Regularly check your VSCC email. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours except on the weekend.
- Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar.
- Complete required College trainings.
- Complete all required reports such as attendance, Early Alerts, progress reports, grade submissions and administer and return surveys by the required deadlines.
- Advise the Department Chair at the earliest possibility if you are unable to teach a class.
- Attend meetings as requested by the Department Chair and/or Dean.
- Comply with all of the College’s and TBR’s policies and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Clinical experience in Maternal, Pediatric, Mental Health, and/or Adult Health Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Collegiate level teaching experience.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing.
Pay Rate
$675 - $800 per credit hour
