Adjunct Clinical Instructor- Nursing (Pool)

Job Duties

• Teach courses via on-ground at the campus or at a clinical site as assigned.
• May teach clinical day, evening, or weekend courses as required.
• Regularly check your VSCC email. Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours except on the weekend.
• Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar.
• Complete required College trainings.
• Complete all required reports such as attendance, Early Alerts, progress reports, grade submissions and administer and return surveys by the required deadlines.
• Advise the Department Chair at the earliest possibility if you are unable to teach a class.
• Attend meetings as requested by the Department Chair and/or Dean.
• Comply with all of the College’s and TBR’s policies and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Clinical experience in Maternal, Pediatric, Mental Health, and/or Adult Health Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Collegiate level teaching experience.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing.

Pay Rate

$675 - $800 per credit hour
