Adjunct - Child Development

Primary Responsibilities

• Create courses aligned with learning outcomes to promote active student participation.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages problem-solving and intellectual curiosity.
• Utilize various assessment methods to evaluate student progress and ensure alignment with course objectives.
• Support students in achieving their academic, personal, and career goals by providing a safe and respectful learning space.
• Influence and lead within academic and professional communities, fostering collaboration and teamwork among peers and instructors.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education and Teaching, Education, or a related field.
• Preferred knowledge of Brightspace Learning Management System.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, necessary for interacting with diverse groups of staff and students.
• Desired experience working with a diverse, multilingual student population, along with a commitment to the college's open access mission.

Pay & Benefits
