About the role
The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) seeks to fill part-time faculty positions in Nursing Obstetric Instruction for the 2026-27 Academic School Year. Responsibilities
- Facilitating student learning by designing varied interactive learning environments
- Working as a team with staff and administrators to create innovative educational experiences
- Assisting in program planning, peer evaluation, educational project development, and participating in personal and professional growth activities
Requirements
- Master's or higher degree in nursing, education, or administration
- Direct patient care experience within the past 5 years in geriatrics and medical-surgical areas
- Validated Clinical Competence
- Current California RN License by start of employment
Qualifications
- One year's continuous, full-time or equivalent experience providing direct patient care in the designated nursing area
- One year academic year of registered nurse level clinical teaching experience in the designated nursing area or its equivalent demonstrating clinical competency

Benefits
Compensation starts at $89.72 per standard hour, plus an office hour differential of $20.99 per hour for classroom assignments. Applicants with a doctoral degree are eligible for a doctoral differential.

Schedule
Final determination of part-time Nursing assignments is contingent upon student enrollment/class or assignment availability/funding.
