About the role

This position will facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degree in the Automotive Programs within the School of Transportation & Heavy Equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate learning for an associate in applied science degree in the Automotive Programs within the School of Transportation & Heavy Equipment.
  • Plan, organize, and fulfill complex initiatives.
  • Use computer skills including electronic communications, word processing, and specific software associated with the position.
  • Maintain high standards of work, initiative, commitment, ethics, professional responsibility, and judgment.
  • Foster and support innovation and excellence.
  • Collaborate with various constituencies.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Show excellent interpersonal skills, capable of recognizing and resolving conflict.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Five years of evidenced industry experience.
  • Teaching experience in Higher Education preferred.
  • Proven history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.
  • Valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
  • A.S.E. Master certified.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university; other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • Experience: Five years of evidenced industry experience; teaching experience in Higher Education preferred; proven history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior.

  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to plan, organize, and fulfill complex initiatives; computer skills to include electronic communications, word processing, and the ability to use specific software associated with the position are necessary; ability to maintain high standards of work, initiative, commitment, ethics, professional responsibility, and judgment; ability to foster and support innovation and excellence; demonstrated success in collaborating with various constituencies; communication skills must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills; must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively recognize and resolve conflict.
