The College of Business and Management seeks adjunct professors to teach in Accounting, Economics, Human Resource Management, and Statistics. Applicants must submit a resume, unofficial transcripts, and three letters of recommendation.
About the Role
Teach courses in accordance with college guidelines, participate in assessment programs, respond to student inquiries, submit reports, engage in professional development, and contribute to meetings and curricula.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in accordance with college guidelines
- Participate in the college's assessment program of student performance
- Timely response to student questions and concerns
- Timely submission of university reports and requirements, such as attendance, grades, and student progress reports
- Participation in the life of the College and University through continuing professional development
- Contributions to University and College meetings
- Advancing curricula and co-curricula
- Engaging in scholarship contributions
- Providing service contributions to the College, University, profession, and broader community
Requirements
- Doctorate with at least 18 graduate credit hours in area of specialization
- Proof of current field experience
- Available to work on-campus in person
Qualifications
- Proficient in using technology for instructional delivery
- Appreciation of different learning styles
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Team player and willingness to engage in leadership activities
Desired Qualifications
- Additional 18 graduate hours in another business-related field
- Previous teaching experience in business statistics, data analytics, business modeling, or related fields
- Administrative leadership interests
