Adjunct Assistant Professors, Business and Economics
About the role
The School of Business and Economics at Carthage College is seeking qualified candidates for multiple adjunct positions starting Fall of 2025. The positions are open to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in areas such as Product Management, Design & Innovation, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Economics, Accounting, and Finance.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should demonstrate an ability to contribute to the teaching quality of the respective Department. They should also subscribe to a holistic educational philosophy, serve as an exemplary role model, and have the ability to develop students in all aspects. A commitment to student success and learning is required.
Requirements
- Master's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution in a direct or related field
- Several years of work experience
- Evidence of prior teaching effectiveness is desired
- Preference given to those who may be available to teach during the day
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who meet the minimum qualifications listed above.
Skills
The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students effectively.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $4,000 - $5,000 per course, depending on experience and responsibilities.
