Bronx Community College (CUNY) invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position in the Department of Engineering, Physics, and Technology at the Assistant Professor level. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in Physics and Astronomy. Responsibilities
- Teaching Physics and Astronomy courses
- Contributing to curriculum development
- Maintaining a strong commitment to teaching excellence and academic advisement to students
- Supporting the department's mission of developing innovative associate degree curricula designed to prepare students for careers in emerging technologies
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in area(s) of expertise, or equivalent
- Ability to teach successfully
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Astronomy, or a closely related field
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the college level
- Minimum of three years of college-level teaching experience
- Experience working with diverse student populations and commitment to student success are highly desirable
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $120.83
