Adjunct Assistant Professor, Art History
About the Role
The Department of Art History and Humanities at Johnson County Community College is seeking an Adjunct Assistant Professor, Art History, to teach one or more sections of:
- ARTH 180: Ancient-Medieval Art History
- ARTH 182: Renaissance-Modern Art History
Responsibilities
Teach assigned Art History courses in accordance with the curriculum and course objectives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Art History (required)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Specialization in the area being taught (preferred)
- Experience teaching Art History (strongly preferred)

Pay
AJCR $1,262–$1,404 per credit hour, determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.
Schedule
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Hours per week vary.
