adidas Product Educator, Running - Boston
About the Role
Product Educators are passionate and knowledgeable about adidas, playing a key role in elevating the brand's presence by providing expert product training and hands-on sales support. As a Product Educator, you will develop and deliver in-depth product training, create impactful content, and directly engage with retail teams and consumers to amplify adidas brand love.
Responsibilities
- Retail Training: Train retail teams to confidently showcase adidas products and technologies, enhancing their selling capabilities.
- Category Expertise: Deliver regular, in-depth product education to specialty retail stores, including comparisons with competitor offerings.
- Content Development: Create high-quality training tools and video content, including writing scripts for the broader adidas field team and digital learning platforms.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with retail accounts to drive product knowledge, engagement, and sales performance.
- Feedback and Insights: Gather and share insights from retail activations to improve training strategies, resources, and inform future season sell-in opportunities.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor the impact of activations on brand exposure, consumer consideration, and retail traffic, providing feedback to refine strategies.
- Drive Sales: Increase sell-through of adidas running products by promoting both on-site and digitally, while educating customers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product education, retail training, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of and passion for running and the running community, with genuine enthusiasm for adidas and the sport.
- Comfortable on camera, presenting to accounts and/or participating in content productions.
- Strong understanding of retail environments, sales processes, and customer engagement.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and content creation skills.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners on both the brand and agency teams.
- Passion for the adidas brand and a commitment to inspiring others through education.
- Ability to travel an average of 1 week per month, with potential of up to 2 weeks during key periods.
Additional Information
- In this position, you will be an Archrival Agent, employed through the agency but representing adidas.
- Expected to work 40 hours a week with a Wednesday-Sunday workweek, including occasional evenings.
- No office for this position; work is primarily in stores, in the car, or from home.
- Must have access to a reliable vehicle with required insurance minimums (work-related mileage reimbursement provided).
Pay
$74,500. Compensation is derived from sound market data and reviewed yearly to ensure fair, competitive wages. Compensation may be discussed with final candidates and determined based upon the market.
