Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of CAD, CAM and CMM programming, UAM, and other additive manufacturing & fabrication methods within the lab; including inspection equipment.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical issues with equipment.
- Assist in machine maintenance efforts, including weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance requirements.
- Comply with all customer requirements for quality, plan for inspection and testing of parts, and ensure that parts produced meet performance and quality requirements before projects are completed/parts are delivered to customers.
- Understand GD&T and other quality specification. Strictly adhere to the company’s quality manual and ISO processes.
- Adhere to company safety policies and industry safety protocols and standards.
- Understand project requirements, complete tasks as required, and advise and assist in the execution of R&D and production projects.
- Effectively plan tasks out to ensure that projects are completed on-time (per customer’s deadlines/delivery requirements) and that time is managed effectively.
- Maintain detailed project notes, take pictures, and prepare detailed reports for management and customers, and maintain all necessary project documentation to ensure compliance with our quality process (ISO 9001:2015).
- Ensure that resources allocated to a project are used effectively and within the project budget.
Requirements
- Full-time, 40-hrs per week (overtime must be requested and approved by the GM)
- Normally first shift with occasional second shift work (up to 60% of the time), depending on production requirements.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, to include conventional machining operations.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM, CNC machining, and technical lab & fabrication skills (3, 4, and 5 axis).
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, every-changing environment with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor own work to ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards.
- Ability to read technical engineering prints, proficiency in GD&T and technical standards.
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to pass drug screening.
