Additive Manufacturing Operations Technician

About the role

You will support and participate in current and new safety, quality and lean initiatives / policies as business needs arise. Additionally, you will read, understand, and use Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA), and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in safety, quality, and lean initiatives
• Read, understand, and use SOPs, JSAs, and schedules
• Work in a team-based, collaborative environment
• Perform machine turnaround and preparation for DMLS 3D printers
• Troubleshoot operational issues and relay critical information to the team
• Order supplies and ship products after production completion

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience
• Experience in Additive Manufacturing or working with metal powders (preferred)
• Basic understanding of machine tools (milling, lathe, drill press, etc.)
• Experience in a technical capacity with a manufacturing focus
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and self-motivation
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite (preferred)

Qualifications

• Advanced degrees or technical certifications (plus)
• Experience in Additive Manufacturing or working with metal powders (preferred)
