Addiction Psychiatry Part Time Assistant Professor- College of Medicine

Responsibilities

This position consists of addiction clinical care, clinical supervision of trainees, teaching, and protected time for clinical addiction research.

Qualifications

  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree with board certification or board eligibility required
  • Completion of an accredited residency required
  • Sub certifications or training in addiction psychiatry highly preferred
  • Current unrestricted licensure as a Physician in Tennessee
  • Current certification DEA number
  • Eligible for malpractice insurance
  • Relocation is not required, however the work is on-site

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center is seeking a part-time Addiction Psychiatrist to join a developing program in addiction treatment and research. The position is at the faculty rank of Assistant Professor or above.
