Job Details:

We are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Permanent Addiction Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients struggling with addiction issues, primarily focusing on opioid addiction treatment. The PA will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive patient care in the area of addiction medicine, with a focus on opioid addiction treatment.
  • Conduct patient evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
  • Prescribe and manage medications as per the treatment plan under the supervision of a physician.
  • Provide patient education on addiction, recovery, and relapse prevention.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide coordinated care.
  • Participate in case reviews, consultations, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in addiction medicine.
  • Adhere to all ethical guidelines and regulations related to patient care and addiction treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient visits, treatments, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current Physician Assistant license, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in addiction medicine, with a focus on opioid addiction treatment.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with and provide support to patients struggling with addiction.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of addiction medicine.

Job Details:

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
