About the Role

dm drogerie markt continues to expand and develop its unique approach to work. Since 2017, we have opened more than 100 new stores and currently employ over 1,000 colleagues across northern and central Italy. For our store in Milan (V.le Coni Zugna), we are looking for a motivated intern with no previous experience in the sales assistant role.

Schedule & Compensation

You may choose between two weekly working hour options:

• 40 hours per week (full-time): monthly allowance of €750. Shift schedule Monday to Saturday, with a maximum of two Sundays per month.
• 30 hours per week: monthly allowance of €600. Shift schedule Monday to Saturday, with a maximum of two Sundays per month.

The internship lasts 6 months. Monthly scheduling is prepared and shared one month in advance.

Key Responsibilities

• Stocking shelves and performing daily inventory
• Product display – learning to create the typical dm wellness atmosphere through proper merchandising
• Cleaning the sales area, warehouse, and common areas
• Customer assistance and advice – learning to guide and support customers to make their dm shopping experience unique and memorable
• Cash register operations
• Organising, setting up, and executing promotions

Profile & Qualifications

• No previous training or experience in the role required, but a passion for the field
• Sense of order and cleanliness
• Schedule flexibility and ability to work toward goals, even during high-workload periods
• Customer and service orientation – we look for empathy, engagement, effective communication, and confidence in interpersonal relationships
• Initiative and problem-solving orientation
• Team spirit and ability to work collaboratively
