About the role

dm drogerie markt continues to expand and develop its unique approach to work. Since 2017, we have opened more than 100 new stores and currently have over 1,000 colleagues across northern and central Italy. For our store in Milan, C.so Sempione, we are looking for a motivated trainee with no previous experience in the role of Sales Assistant.

Schedule options

• 40 hours per week (full-time), with differentiated allowances based on the chosen schedule type
• 30 hours per week, with differentiated allowances based on the chosen schedule type
• Monday to Saturday, with a maximum of two Sundays per month
• Monthly schedule prepared and shared one month in advance

Activities

• Shelf restocking and daily inventory
• Product display: learn to create dm's typical wellness atmosphere through proper merchandising
• Cleaning of sales area, warehouse, and common areas
• Customer assistance and advice: learn to advise and assist customers to make shopping at dm a unique and remarkable experience
• Cash register operations
• Organize, set up, and execute promotions

Profile

• No previous education or experience in the role required, but passion for the field
• Sense of order and cleanliness
• Schedule flexibility and ability to work toward goals, even during high workload periods
• Customer and service orientation: empathy, engagement, effective communication, and confidence in relationships with others
• Initiative and problem-solving orientation
• Team spirit and ability to work in a team

What we offer

• Monthly allowance of €750 for a 40-hour work week, on shift schedule Monday to Saturday with a maximum of two Sundays per month
