ADC - Donor Door Greeter

Job Details

The Columbus retail store is currently looking for a hard-working and dedicated Retail Associate – Donor Door Greeter for our ADC (Attention Donation Centers).

Responsibilities

• Greets donors quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service.
• Operates all tasks independently.
• Receives donated goods from donors by unloading vehicles and carrying in donated items.
• Provides receipts to donors and maintains accurate donation records using a hand-held device.
• Organizes donations into bins as they are brought in to assist with accurate processing.
• Performs opening and closing tasks of the ADC.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps the work area neat and clean.
• Affords assistance to truck drivers when loading and unloading donations.
• Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Prior experience in a retail environment may be considered in lieu of education.
• Average math skills.
• Ability to use a hand-held electronic device.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment; preferred.
• Warehouse experience, preferred.

Schedule

• Average hours of 20-25 per week.
• Hours will fluctuate based on business needs (i.e., seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.).
• Operating days will fluctuate based on store location.
• The Retail Associate – ADC Donor Door Greeter must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.
