ADAS Evaluation Engineer

Role description What you’ll be doing Conduct Software-in-the-Loop (SILs) & Hardware-in-the-Loop testing of latest Electronics & ADAS systems software release. Configure, modify, and troubleshoot SILs/HILs test benches, test vehicles, sensors, and data acquisition systems. Support the evaluation and tuning of ADAS / ADS systems with a focus on North American road conditions and challenges. Support the development and initial implementation of proof-of-concept systems. Configure, modify, and troubleshoot test vehicles, sensors and data acquisition equipment. Communicate performance issues through project leaders to suppliers & TMC to support proposals of appropriate countermeasures. Implement quantitative benchmarking methods for ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) on competitor vehicles using GPS, camera, or other sensors. Complete data gathering evaluations on public roads and proving grounds.
