About the Role
Provides direct patient care in the Acute Medical Unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following nursing standards.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family-centered care
- Educates patients and families on illness management
- Participates in safety and quality initiatives
- Develops and documents individualized care plans
- Assesses physical and psychosocial needs
- Communicates care across teams
Requirements
- Active RN license required
- ADN, BSN, or MSN preferred
- No experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for higher qualifications
- ACLS certification is a plus
